My prints are from a series of paintings I did with the daughters of friends. I dressed them up in a variety of 'fairy' clothes and had them sit for me. Since children are too antsy to sit for a drawing I photographed them preparatory for these paintings. This was a very curious process as the parents wanted to coach the children into smiling into the camera of course, and I really wasn't interested in a traditional portrait. I would have to shush the parents eventually without fail!
And I'm not sure who had more fun - the children or me!
